Sometimes an archived process needs to be accessed to see how something used to be completed. For example, if auditors are testing an entry and need to verify how it was completed at that point in time, they would need to understand the process at that point in time. However, I do feel we need to have a more visible notation on the process map/procedure if it's accessed via the link once it's archived as people don't always pay attention to the version # indication near the title. Further, users [with appropriate access] need to be able to have the links to the archived process available in the "Archived and Deleted Processes" report, or another way to search archives, so we can get to the process once it's archived (assuming the link isn't saved elsewhere).
This feature is not planned for in our near term roadmap at this stage, however we'll continue to monitor interest, and update the status of this idea as our plans change.
