Either include an auto-save option or build a warning that alerts user they are about to be timed out

Users who are interrupted with flow of work sometime lose effort when they go afk for a while (is it 2 hours?), then potentially pick up where they left off only to learn they have lost all their recent work because the system logged them out (time out) already. There is no notification at all... ideally one to warn it will occur soon, and another that says they have been timed out.

I wonder if an auto-save feature would help... perhaps auto-save doesn't change versioning and that's still manually controlled when physically selecting Save.

An autosave feature would be very useful for our staff. With increased use of M365 which has autosave, staff are no longer in the habit of saving regularly.

Any news on this one Kerry - it's been sitting here for a couple of years and for some reason I got a notification in my emails this morning. The Autosave would still be of help

Thanks for the great suggestion. This would be greatly improve the session time out experience. We'll monitor this idea for other client interest.

Adding my support to an auto-save feature that would protect work completed when the user hasn't saved manually. Also agree an auto-save feature should not update versioning

It would be very helpful if Promapp displayed a time-out warning before logging out a user due to inactivity (perhaps a countdown of some kind). Some of my users have lost work that they did not save (I keep reminding them to save early and often!), but a pop-up warning might alert them to save their work before they get logged out of the system.
