Process and Document Review dates configuration more flexible
Review dates should calculate from the date the review is DONE not the day it is due.
review dates should be more flexible - if review is done in the middle of the review period why can't we mark it as reviewed and reset the schedule?
Our staff are complaining that they are having to review process they have just changed. I know you can reset the review date "from" but rarely do people remember to set taht.
Specific to documents it would be helpful to be able to set a date for review, at present we have only a date of upload. Different documents have different review schedules so calculating a review based on upload date is not useful. We also link documents which are updated in sharepoint, which means that the original upload date can be quite old but the linked document be current, but we have no way of recording this information
Something we have been wanting for a while - publishing a new version by definition means the process / document has been reviewed and the review period should restart from that date!
I agree with this. It is causing alot of frustration with users at my work place, especially those that are being proactive and wont to clear their dashboard as soon as the document comes up for review. It is causing issues in our work place where people are forgetting to go back at a later date or they are fed up and refuse to review it at a later date. Flexibility would be great or dont show on the dashboard until the document is within the period to allow "reviewed" to be selected.
This feature is not planned for in our near term roadmap at this stage, however we'll continue to monitor interest, and update the status of this idea as our plans change.
