In the current visualisation of mapping, the Nintex Process Manager shows all of the traditional process steps, which does a good job for operational use. However, the executives are often impatient to look at these process maps to understand the importance and value of a particular process improvement. In this case, the value stream mapping with information flow is particularly useful for gaining executive buy-in. Nintex Process Manager in fact records these values in the system (time, input & output, system used) and has all the necessary information to form the information flow for a value stream mapping. It would be wonderful for Nintex to consider this option, which turns Process Manager into a tool for not only managing the operational aspects of processes but also a strategic tool for forming process improvements.
