Have Promapp auto generate unique reference numbers

Companies that are accredited by the International Standards Organisation ("ISO") are required to allocate unique reference numbers to processes, forms and policies. This can be quite time consuming and it would be great if Promapp automatically generated and displayed unique identification references for processes and forms. Would be a great customer selling point to ISO accredited companies.

We have used the APQC process classification framework (in our case specifically the utilities version) to design numbers. It would be awesome if you could import the process list and numbers into Promapp for selection/allocation when you create processes. (I realise that this comment is probably more useful to other users pondering how to set up a numbering mechanism than it is for Promapp).

There is a setting for documents "Enable document reference numbers" where you can use it to assign a number but it is a manual task.
Our current workaround for this is for one person the entire organisation to be the "issuer of numbers".
Any time anyone wants to upload a new document, they have to contact this person to get the next unique number in the sequence to tag the document or process.

Thank you for the suggestion. I can see how this would be beneficial and save time. We don't have this on our near term roadmap currently, so we'll monitor interest in this idea from other clients.

Love this idea, but the reference number needs to be a field in the procedure view - in the summary section maybe - rather than be a prefix to the process name, that would be preferable. we tried using the document reference numbers, but it made processes more difficult for users to navigate and find.
