Companies that are accredited by the International Standards Organisation ("ISO") are required to allocate unique reference numbers to processes, forms and policies. This can be quite time consuming and it would be great if Promapp automatically generated and displayed unique identification references for processes and forms. Would be a great customer selling point to ISO accredited companies.
Could the unique ID that is present in the API output (from the url string related to each individual process) be included as a field in Process Manager and in the reports so that processes can be identified by system generated unique ID rather than either having to manually add unique reference numbers (if feature is enabled) or Process Name (if unique reference numbers are not enabled)?
We have used the APQC process classification framework (in our case specifically the utilities version) to design numbers. It would be awesome if you could import the process list and numbers into Promapp for selection/allocation when you create processes. (I realise that this comment is probably more useful to other users pondering how to set up a numbering mechanism than it is for Promapp).
Our current workaround for this is for one person the entire organisation to be the "issuer of numbers".
Any time anyone wants to upload a new document, they have to contact this person to get the next unique number in the sequence to tag the document or process.
