Ability to view documents in-software rather than downloading
It would be beneficial to process participants if they could view documents that have been uploaded to Process Manager within the software in a 'view-mode' (e.g. opening in a new tab or a pop-up window). If a document is hosted on Process Manager, it would make sense to be able to view it within the software too.
Users have reported they dislike having documents download every time they need to view them, and if they were to refer to a version of the document that has already downloaded, they would be viewing an offline version that may not be the most up-to-date, which is a major risk with documents auto-downloading.
I vote for this idea. Having the document to be downloaded every time one needs to view it, allows them to save the file into their personal drive or folder which is not compliant to requirements of ISO 9001 because the business will have no control on their documentation. Also, it will be good for all documents to have the same management as process map ie be able to download a master list report with process owner/expert, when is it due for review etc
